Snake bite

In this video, you’ll learn exactly what to do if someone is bitten by a snake, whether you’re on a farm, at home, or out in the bush.

Snake bites can be life-threatening, but quick, calm, and correct action can save a life. The video walks you through the Pressure Immobilisation Technique (PIT), which is the recommended first aid treatment in Australia for most snake bites and bites from funnel-web spiders, blue-ringed octopus, and cone shells.
