Empowering parents and carers through Paediatric Training

Founded by Sarah Duncanson and Grace Larson, PAEDS has a vision to support regional and rural healthcare with Paediatric skills and knowledge in the form of first aid training. In 2022, PAEDS expanded into the NDIS sectors, supporting children with complex medical needs by training their carers with specialised paediatric knowledge and skills.

PAEDS partners with The Sisterhood Project in providing free infant and child first aid training to vulnerable parents and carers across Victoria.

Lifesaving education for little humans online and in-person

Megan developed Help at Hand to empower parents, grandparents, carers, nannies and friends by providing the skills needed to navigate emergencies.

Help at Hand delivers fun, simple and engaging evidence-based health education by trained professionals so that carers have the knowledge and skills to care for children and babies in any given situation.

Help at Hands partners with The Sisterhood Project to help extend training and free first aid care to vulnerable parents and carers across Victoria in order to save lives and prevent death.

Breathing new life into First Aid Training

Founded by Nicole Gleeson, a Paediatric Emergency Nurse, who grew up on a farm in south-west Victoria, Rhythm First Aid provides training that is modern, relevant and tailored to the ages and stages of our audiences.

They engage each cohort by adapting language and learning outcomes to the life context and respond to the changing seasons and prevalent issues. Rhythm First Aid’s trainers are nursing professionals with their fingers on the pulse who respond calmly to emergencies because they are trained, experienced and up-to-date.

People even say their training is fun! We reckon that proves they’re engaged; listening and learning, not just ticking a box. That makes Rhythm First Aid courses good training for life and everything it throws at us.

CPR kids

A little bit of knowledge is a powerful thing

Sarah Hunstead started CPR Kids because she knows that what a parent or carer does in the minutes before an ambulance arrives, can directly impact the health outcome of their child. As a Paediatric nurse, Sarah realised that a little knowledge, and confidence to act, could make all the difference.

The amazing team of paediatric nurses at CPR Kids empower families, educators and carers of children with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognise and respond to illness and injury in children, with confidence.

CPR Kids partners with The Sisterhood Project to raise awareness of their essential service to help extend training and free first aid care to vulnerable parents and carers across Victoria.
