Infant 0-1 years CPR

In this micro-learning video, you’ll learn how to recognise when an infant is unresponsive and not breathing normally, and how to respond with confidence. Using the latest ANZCOR (Australian and New Zealand Committee on Resuscitation) guidelines, we guide you through each step of infant CPR with clear, simple instructions and visual demonstrations.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Check for danger and assess responsiveness

  • Open the airway and check for normal breathing

  • Give rescue breaths

  • Perform 30 compressions in the centre of the chest

  • Continue cycles of 30 compressions and 2 breaths until help arrives

This training is designed for parents, carers, and anyone who wants to feel confident in an emergency. Knowing what to do in those first few minutes can make all the difference. This video is educational in nature and does not constitute for medical advice. It is part of The Sisterhood Project’s First Aid Learning Series, created to help families feel calm and confident in an emergency.
